Cat Robson-Scarborough Named a Finalist for the Global Woman Award 2026

Global Woman Award Finalist 2026

The Global Woman Summit has named Cat Robson-Scarborough as a finalist for the Global Woman Award 2026, and we couldn’t be prouder.

Their announcement describes Cat as a business leader helping reshape the future of UK franchising through a more accessible, ethical and people-first approach. That’s a description that fits, and it’s one the whole YMWAV team has watched her earn.

The Story Behind the Recognition

Cat’s background isn’t franchising. Before YMWAV, she held senior leadership roles with brands including Calvin Klein and Orvis, building the kind of commercial experience that most people spend careers accumulating. When she turned that experience towards franchising, she brought something the industry doesn’t always have enough of: a genuine focus on the people involved, not just the model.

Together with Dan, she helped scale Your Man With A Van from a single van to 65 branches in just over two years. That growth figure is striking. What sits behind it is more so.

What the Global Woman Summit Highlighted

The announcement didn’t just cover the numbers. It spoke to the personal reality of what building YMWAV has involved.

Cat built the company through a high-risk pregnancy, birth trauma and relocation. She kept going. Not because it was easy, but because the mission mattered. Creating a business that opens doors for people who might not have access to traditional routes into business ownership is something she has held onto throughout, regardless of what else was happening around her.

The Global Woman Summit recognised all of it. The commercial track record, the resilience, and the commitment to fairness and integrity that sits at the heart of how YMWAV operates.

What It Means

Cat has always been clear that the recognition belongs to more than one person. Every franchisee who backed this idea, trusted the process and went out and built something real in their local area is part of what’s being celebrated here.

65 branches. Over 3,200 five-star reviews. Franchisees building confidence, stability and long-term success in towns across the UK.

That’s the mission. The award is a reflection of it.

The Global Woman Awards 2026 ceremony will be announced in due course. We’ll share the outcome when we know it.
