Going The Extra Mile

We once helped a lovely customer in Paisley with a small move ahead of her son’s 6th birthday. Among the boxes was a flat-packed jungle gym — a surprise gift she was planning to build herself, later that week. 🎉

Once everything was unloaded and in place, we offered to put the gym together there and then, so it’d be ready for when he got home from school. It wasn’t part of the original job — just a small way we could help make her life that bit easier. ⭐️

Later that day, she sent us a photo of her son climbing all over it, with the biggest smile. Jobs like that remind us why we do what we do — not just moving things, but making memories along the way. 😊

Dog Friendly

We’ve done a lot of moves over the years, but there’s one we’ll never forget. It was a tight timeline — two vans, four of us, and a full 4 bed house to clear and a family dog that followed every box to the van like he was in charge of security. 👮

When it was time to leave, he refused to get in the car with his owner. He wanted to ride with us — with the stuff. So we improvised: the customer jumped in one van, and the dog rode up front with us. He was calm as anything, watching the road like a seasoned co-driver. By the time we pulled up to the new house, everything (and everyone) had made it just fine — including our four-legged supervisor. 🐶

Fishy Tenants

One Item move that sticks in our mind! A 5ft fish tank. The customer said it was completely empty and easy to access — simple enough. 🧐

What they didn’t mention? The flat was on the third floor… with no lift. Six flights of stairs later, and with some serious focus (and teamwork), we got it down in one piece. No drama, no damage — just a clean, careful move. The tank arrived at its new home scratch-free, ready for its next round of fishy tenants. 🐟

From Floor to Ceiling

One time we helped a customer in Paisley who needed to clear out their basement — not for a typical renovation, but to build a fully dedicated model railway room. We’re talking miniature mountains, hand-built stations, tunnels, the works. 🛤️

The space was packed with three generations’ worth of model trains, tracks, scenery — a real treasure trove. We arranged secure storage through one of our trusted partners and handled the whole process from start to finish. Everything was packed with care, catalogued, and moved into storage safely.

A few months later, once the new railway room was ready, we brought it all back. Every box, crate, and delicate piece was returned and placed on newly built dedicated storage racks. — ready for the grand build to begin. Choo choo 🚂
