Recently, we got an unexpected call from a well-known food delivery company’s delivery driver whose moped had just broken down in the center of Exeter, right in the middle of his shift.

It’s not every day that a delivery driver needs a delivery driver!

After picking up his moped and loading it into our van, we didn’t just head straight to the garage. We actually helped him complete his last few deliveries to ensure his customers received their orders on time.

Once everyone was fed, we took his moped to the garage so he could get back on the road. Your Man With A Van really goes the extra mile—quite literally!

Every September in Exeter, our vans fill up with boxes, duvets, and excited chatter as we help new and returning students settle in. There’s something special about seeing the city come alive with fresh faces and suitcases. As, a Exeter University alumni, I remember my own moving-in day, so I love sharing my tips for making the process easy.
